Coaching Process

Identify Need and Goal for Change | You don’t have to be sick to get better, but the first step in solving a problem is admitting that there is one. This means identifying where you are and where you want to be (i.e., what you want the problem to look like when it has changed). |
Build an Intervention Plan | Advice is a valuable tool that offers insights, suggestions, and guidance to others. Well-intentioned advice can empower individuals to make informed decisions, overcome obstacles, and navigate their personal and professional journeys with greater clarity and confidence. Affirmation is a practice of consciously choosing positive thoughts and beliefs to shape our reality. By repeating affirmations, we reprogram our subconscious mind, boosting self-confidence, motivation, and resilience. Decide if your intervention will use advice, affirmation, or both and find what you need on the blog. |
Implement Intervention with Fidelity and Monitor Progress and Outcomes | The best pill in the world will not make you better if you don’t take it. Fidelity is a fancy word for whether an intervention was implemented as intended (e.g., Did you take the pill?). You can use a daily checklist to keep track of your intervention and you can maintain, modify, or stop it depending on how it is going. |
